Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Van Aaken box

A friend of mine gave me a Van Aaken box for my truck since he was upgrading. His truck was a 2000 and mine is a 2001. I was wondering if this box will work on mine. I know the map plug is different and I was thinking of changing it. I don't know about the injector pump I have to look. Any help on this would be helpfull. Or if anyone can suggest another box that is good. I'm looking more for mileage than power. Thanks!

I think the shape of the plug is the only difference.
