In Indiana, we can do 7 letters. I remember seeing one in Florida that had 8 letters. It was AIRSPEED - might have been a New York plate. I remember counting and double checking because that was the longest plate I had seen. It was on the back of the car, not the front, so I don't think it was a fake.



I like SMKWGN better out of the 2 you're thinking of.

Our new Megacab has DEPUTY that is our last name and was passed down from my DAD when he passed on. Many years ago he needed his good friend Governor Mike O'Callahan to 'squeeze' the DMV chief, a mutual friend in Lions Club, to get it made for him. This was shortly after Nevada started making vanity plates, I am sorry I do not rembember when that was. Our kids and us also have several versions of Deputy Dawg as that has been my nick name since I drove school bus in high school. Yes in my day an 18yr old could drive school bus with a Chaffuer lic. (1965)

Can't believe I haven't seen this one posted yet... ... ... ... . ok, on second thought, I've just tried for about 20 minutes to get a file small enough to load onto the site, and I give up. At any rate, my plate reads "G0TT0RQ" (yeah, zeros, not the letter "O", but that's Vermont for you... doesn't always make sense, lol).
