variable turbo rumor?

i dont want to start a rumor but i was talking with a holest person today and i asked when the new dodge cummins was going to get vvt he said " i dont know when but i know they are working on it" VVT and edge juice clucth and dd3's will make 500 ponies with out bad egt's. the tq number would be crazy.



i bet this will join a new auto transmission. we have some real suprises in the near future for the cummins even if it is in a toyota, ford or nissan.



just call me the rumor started but i am serious about the VVT.



cummins did say that they are seeking other mfg's. i wonder what they are saying without saying it?

VW has had some problems with the variable turbo. The mechanicals tend to get "gunked up" and the engine seems gutless. Could have something to do with the egr, though.

"cummins did say that they are seeking other mfg's. i wonder what they are saying without saying it?" they are saying we just signed another long contract with dodge to supply our engines to the ram. other than that I can tell you this also they have to mate that engine with the auto from d-c even if its in another makers truck,contract.
