Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have designed and built a prototype for a Varible Valet control. It includes a three position switch with three modes Valet on, Valet off & Varible Valet. In the varible you have control on how soon the AFC allows increased fueling. This can be adjusted anywhere from full Valet to no Valet.
For those of us with over fueling or a heavy right foot we can control the amount of fueling to reduce smoke and increase fuel milage without a drastic reduction in horsepower. When towing in the varible it can help control high EGT's.
The preliminary cost is about $200. 00 to $250. 00 if anyone is interested I can make this up in a kit that is very easy to install. Since installing mine it has been an answer to my problem of a heavy right foot and helps in high EGT control, my fuel milage has also increased.
