varible vane turbo

some have a varable size turbo

Piers has a link to holset. I cant remember off the top. They have info on a variable geometry turbo. From what I gathered, they have a variable exhaust housing that can go from 9cm to 22cm. Something like that.



There was a thread about this not too long ago. there is a ways to go before we get them installed.

they are gonna be spendy little boogers. just over 2 grand for the turbo alone.

they are pretty cool turbos. . i just lost out on getting one myself... . my friend just lost his job and prior to him losing it he was snagging a nice big ol variable vane turbo from a destroyed gen set. . it would have been pretty sick . . but oh well what can i do ... ha... . my fiances car has one in it a garret vnt-15. . its a 2001 vw golf tdi

works sweet . . i bet they will work awesome on the cummins dodges too. . later
