I am considering upgrading to Bill K. VB/TC. When using 2nd gear lock-up during deceleration does this provide more breaking capacity when going down steep hills? Would this be a safe way to retard speed when pulling a 5th wheel or would the EGT's be in trouble? My truck is completely stock at this point. Would the VB/TC be a noticable improvement? I am planning on mild BOMBING later (EZ). Any comments will be appreciated.
