vBulletin software upgraded - please note any problems here

The one from Bully dog, one about steering part, Cummins, one about Transmission & parts and other advertisements do not show up. I did not even know they were there until I logged on use a computer at work. I do allow pop ups and have not knowingly blocked these ads.

That must be something on your PC blocking those ads. Those are gif images. Do you get any of the ads? What internet related software do you have on your PC? Things like internet security suites, ad blockers, key logger blockers, anti-virus, firewall, net speedup, etc.

I upgraded the vBulletin software tonight because of some security issues that had been discovered in the version we were running. I had to replace almost every file in the software and put in all of the hacks that I've added. With all of those edits there's a decent chance that there may be some issues. If you have any problems please let me know and I'll get on them ASAP.

Steve- Remember the problem I contacted you about me not being able to send any PM's? well -whatever you did fixed this problem!Oo. I am now enjoying being able to talk to members behind the board in PM's.

Although I still seem to have a problem loading my truck profile? I thought it might have been too long so I shortened it and nope- still won't show up on my profile page? any reason for this?

Your the only person that seems to be having that problem. The truck profile is an unlimited length field. Try entering something simple like abc and see if that will save. Also try editing your signature and see if that will save. The signature editor and truck profile editor use nearly the exact same code. I did put up an announcement about the PM problem being fixed - Private Message WYSIWYG editor bug fixed

I like to use the search for posts since last visit function, but about half the time the "last visit" gets set to current time and the search, naturally, returns zero posts. Any idea what causes this? Could "last visit" time be constrained so it isn't set closer than, say, 2 hours from current visit?

Here's info in the website FAQ section on how the timing works for searches - Why do I get "Sorry - no matches" or "page cannot be found" messages during searches?. The only time the last visit should get reset to the current time is if you logout and then log back in. If your having to log in while you are using the site then you have a cookie problem and you want to check out this post Trouble remaining logged in on the website?.
