Hi, does anyone have experience with the Velvet Ride shackle kit? I have a 93 250 4X4 and I'm interested to see if they make a set for my truck..... Thanks for looking... ..... Chuck

I tried touse them on my '93 but due to the fact that it was assembeled in Mexico I couldn't. Check to see if you can dissamble the rear spring shackels. If you can they will probably work. The bolts holding the shackels in place were in backwards and would hit the frame before coming loose. The upper mounts on mine were riveted to the frame. All in all it would have been an all day job and I wasn't comfortable with replacing the rivets with bolts. Good luck.

Happy trails

Alright, I posted this about 2 months ago . I have a couple days off and want to try a set of these . . They have a set for 94-2001 3/4 ton . . Do these fit a 93? some parts places say yes some say "well that's a good question". . Anyone here know if it'll fit. . Thanks for looking... ... ... . Chuck

Several things

I recently replaced the rear bushings. All I can say is... WTF? Why is it that Dodge used so many different bushings and bolt sizes on these things? After two incorrect Stealer special orders (and three weeks) I gave up and went right to a spring shop. One would think it would be cheaper to standardize things for the half a cent they must have save on a D150 straight six.

Anyway, you need to measure YOUR bolts and bushings so that when you call Velvet Ride, they can tell you whether or not these units will fit YOUR Dodge.

My bushings are 1. 5"OD x . 75"ID x 2&7/8"L. My stock shackles have no offset but I think some did.
