My '04 doesn't have any airflow thru the cab at highway speeds with the fan turned off. With the engine off and ignition on, I can turn the fan off and hear the damper operating to APPARENTLY cut off the outside air. Anyone else noticed and wondered about this. I never had to run the fan before this truck just to have a little fresh air coming in. FWIW, the DC Answer Man says there should be flow without running the fan.

Also, since I put a hose on my AC evaporator drain (love that cost-cutting), I've noticed a definite decrease in the crankcase vent pipe smell (not that I cared..... I kinda like that fragrance... au de Diesel).

My vent does the same, it's needs to be on low atleast to get some flow. Nothing in off.

What's this about the eliminating the fumes? I smell diesel really good when sitting at lights.

Do you have a link to the solution, I haven't come across it yet.

EDIT - Nevermind, I found it.
