 I'm browsing around the bone yard the other day and noticed a dodge dakota cab. It had vents on the outside back of the cab

Kind of reminded me of heat register vents, they look to let air out but not in.

Then I looked on the Ram and they have them too.

Anyone have any idea what they are for.

I think I have seen what you are talking about. I "Think" they allow some fressure to escape when closing the doors, but I could be way off.

I would imagine they allow your heat or air to work with the windows up as well. If you have the vents on recirc. , it wouldn't matter. But, if you have them on fresh air intake with the windows up, the cab has to vent.
