I'm not in Vermont, but my wife and I have been investigating a business to buy in Barre, VT. Are you anywhere close to that. Not sure we're going to buy the business. We like it a lot, but that's a long ways from family (Missouri), and would not allow much time to go home to visit.

Yeah, I talked to David & his wife for about 1/2 hour one evening. Very nice couple. If we decide to buy the business and move up there, they will have had a lot to do with our decision. We're just not that sure about moving that far away from family, especially when the business won't afford much time to go home & visit.

I can get to Barre in about an hour, hour. 5ish I know what you meen we used to live on the othe side of VT the NORTHEAST KINGDOM walden but when I turned 4 my parents and I moived over here to help dads brother with his dairy farm. now we landscape. missouri is a lot farther than 180miles away you are right about not seeing the family much! what is the business?

My computer says its just under 3 hrs from Isle La Motte to Springfield. My business is primarily a racecar chassis fabrication shop. It is actually a part time (Nites, Eve's, Weekends) business, as I have a real job as well. I do know a little about the diesels and can work on about anything, but am not an expert on the diesels at all.

Hey all

I guess that puts me in the middle, Burlington,Vt

Although I have not been around much lately.

Just moved MOM up to Nova Scotia

Doing a little rehab on her new 100yr old house.

Lots of trips back and forth, girl friend in Vt

Its about 870 miles and 14. 5hrs
