Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) very high egt which turbo?

i need a new turbo not sure which one. my pre turbo temps are 1600+ at wot post turbo never over 800 every one says bigger turbo. truck has v/a box dd2 and blue chip box {see sig}

Hybrid rebuild for $300 ish, to new B1 or Kwik Spool for over $1300

Given the power that should make, I'd suggest our Jammer turbo.

thanks every one is there any way to keep my pac brake and fix this problem. 2000 is what i want to spend. also what is the jammer based on hx40?

You can keep your Pacbrake with the Dodgezilla.

Again, with the power you have, a hybrid will be marginal at best to control EGT. Once you step up to a HX-40 or Jammer sized turbo, the outlet is 4", so your Pacbrake won't fit anymore.



The Jammer is not based on a 40, but similar in physical size and uses the same downpipe.
