I am going to keep this very short and to the point cause I am about to fall asleep while I am TRYING to type this...

Lost 97% of my power steering and my brake pedal sticks in one spot if depressed to about 1/4 of the way down and will not go past 1/2 way down because I lose power brakes past that point :(

Have NO leaks at all, PS fluid is full, hoses look fine, no odd noises coming from the PS pump  :(

I hope someone has dealt with this and can assist me with what to do.

Thanks guys, CJ

Spent most of the day messin with this problem.

Turns out, the regulator valve in the PS pump, was getting hung up and relieving the pressure.

I installed a re-man pump, and did my usual mods to the regulator.

All is well now

I installed a reman pump on a '97 not long ago and valve was stuck from the start. I had to take it apart and do some polishing. The thing had no pressure at all when first installed.

Glad you got it going. What are your usual mods to the regulator?

I drill out the holes in the high pressure fitting= higher flow rate.

Then I cut a piece of 1/2" copper pipe (about 1/4" long) and put it in the regulator hole before any other regulator parts= higher pressure.

Thats about it.

If you want more details, I can take pictures and list exact sizes.
