VERY NEAT website

This website will guess what TV Character you are pretending to be. Pick a character (example Gilligan from Gilligan's Island) Start by answering the first question: Are You Female?. Then answer the questions as if you were the character.



If anybody can stump it please post.



I am 0-3. It guessed Captain Kirk from Star Trek. Mary Ann from Gilligan's island. Edith Bunker from All in the Family. Those did not even challenge it.

It figured out Sam Malone from Cheers as well, but it took it a LOT of questions.



Looks to me like it is a simple database of all the sitcom stars with a series of binary characteristics listed for each one - like for Sam,



- visits Cheers frequently

- not blonde

- successful dating

- tries to date boss



etc.



With 10 or 15 sort points per character, and enough yes / no questions, they should be able to easily winnow down to the correct guy. In fact, if two of them were very similar, it would only take 1 additional yes/no question to distinguish them.



Looks like a heck of a lot of work though, somebody had a lot of time on their hands...
