I've seen some posts regarding this, but trust me this is not as simple as the firewall holes not being sealed.

Up to 15,000 miles, I had no problem at all. Lately it has gotten stronger and stronger, and is now to the point that I have to roll down my windows if I'm going slow.

I'm taking it to the dealership today, but if anyone has had this same problem I'm curious to know what you have found.

If I open the hood, the smell on the driver's side of the engine is enough to make you feel like you will pass out. I can find no leaks at all though.

Have them lift the valve cover. Sounds like an injector leak.

You might see moisture around the head... not always.

This is what i was thinking, I thoght I had seen some comments about loose or leaking injectors.

My eyes and nose are in pain today it's so bad. I probably should not have waited this long.

I had the same thing you had. My leak was at the CP-3. If I got under the truck with a flashlight and shined it on the bottom of my injector pump, I could see diesel fuel on the bottom side. It was all over, in the wire lumes also. The fuel was leaking out of what looks like freeze plugs on the CP-3. This problem has happened to me twice now. I use to have an Edge EZ on my truck, set on level 3. When I had the first CP-3 replaced, I drove the truck a couple of weeks and there were no leaks. I put the box back on and the pump started to leak the next day. Had the CP-3 replaced again, this time I'm not putting the EZ back on. I have driven several hundred miles now with no leaks. I know this doesn't prove much yet until there are more miles on this pump. I have a little over 30,000 miles now. Way to soon to have two leaky CP-3 pumps. Hope this helps.

Some of them had leaks around the number 6 injector. In case nobody else has mentioned it don't look for leaks while its running because most of the lines are under some serious pressure.

Bingo, that's exactly what it is, leaking around injector 6.

The guy there said the same thing, "don't play around with that, it'll kill you"

They are fixing it today.

Well, they called me and said the leaking around the #6 injector was a crack in the injector line. Worst part... no parts available. He said he's going to try to get the part by tomorrow morning... if not he's not going to like me much unless he enjoys handing out loaner cars.
