Same here and I am anxious for the first TDR fella to do one, are they for sale yet?

The ATS guy at the HDDR said the should ship by the end of the year. I'm thinking about trying one, but I'm waiting to hear from Ken @ Imler or Adam @ Winspeed (both of whom have mentioned getting one to test)

Have to admidt the Arctic Twins @ 2850. 00 is enticing. Too bad you have to run an oiled air filter. . yuck.

On second thought, the way they run the inlet maybe a BHAF would set in there that way.

is that number from banks at the wheels or flywheel? I know a lot of you guys dont like banks but i do. Have had it on 2 of my trucks now and been impressed, but with 500 HP available from banks i would be even happier :)

It's at the flywheel. I read it in the Diesel Power Magazine. They have a short article in it with Dodge, Ford, and Chevy. The Dodge boast the most power of the bunch. Actually only 50 hp than the rest. I like Banks too. I have all of their products except for the intake and intercooler. My truck had no problems.

oh ok i read that too but didnt it say the powerstroke was at 400 HP at the flywheel? That doesnt make much sense which is why i was confused. According to banks website the six gun tuner bumps the 6. 0 up to about 390 HP at the wheels. so either i am reading it wrong or there is a misprint. also on the website the dodge has less HP than the ford and i think maybe even less than the chevy but more torque than the ford. I would think that it would be easy for banks to get the dodge up to the torque level of the chevy and the HP level of the ford but maybe not

I like how Banks can take a 305 HP truck, put a 126 HP chip on it and claim its a 500 HP truck??? 305+126= 431 (at the flywheel which no reputible diesel company uses) so they are under 400 at the wheels. Their "air flow improvements" arent making that much more HP because it takes fuel to make the HP and it takes quite a bit of fuel and air to make 500 HP at the flywheel or the wheels. I will stick with the products that I have under my hood.

When I made ref. to 500HP that was with the VG turbo installed along with all the other BANKS electronics. That sounds about right with the six gun/speedloader innercooler, high ram intake,VG turbo, 4" exhaust, billet TQ converter. They sad it would come out of the whole like no other truck with the VG turbo in place. . I'm sure it will cost a fortune since the Big Hoss is about 2700. 00...

again but that 500 is at the flywheel correct? and i believe that same article had the 6 litre at 400 hp fly wheel but their website says its 389 at the wheels. so which is it flywheel or wheel HP?

I am at 425 RWHP now without the turbo controller or shape-shifter. This weekend with the SPS62 I plan on Being 475 RWHP. On Edit Safely. .

I would love to think that it was at the wheels however, I didn't really hear them mention where it was measured. It does seem possible...

yah i would love for it to be at the wheels to and from what Twest is saying it sounds just like it could be. Once banks has their turbo ready it sounds like they will be adding duration as well to their six gun. At least thats what i understand them to be doing perhaps i am wrong. But it sounds like a sweet setup hopefully its not too expensive tho :)

The install was a direct Bolt in,The studs Industrial sent were to short,If you have a Pacbrake direct mount you will need to shave off about a . 25 of the cylinder support bracket. First impressions it LIGHTS up nice I will have more info tomorrow.

i believe that its a program from cummins that takes a regular SO cummins and makes it a HO and then some i am sure TWEST will correct me if i am wrong

Yeah, had it done Two years ago,Others have it now. 03 had PCM/ECM combo so it was easy to change the engine configuration. Most cummins shop will do this for a Price.
