Chris,

If your truck looks like this, it doesn't need TSB 19-008-03.

What is this TSB for Dean? I haven't heard of this one yet.

Thanks.

I keep going back and forth on whether this is driveline or RPM related, and now after playing around this morning, I'm back to driveline.

Definitely seems like driveline. Might take off front driveshaft and see if that fixes it. If so, then I'll take it to the dealer and have it replaced.

TSB 19-008-03 replaces the hydroboost hose from the power steering pump with a new hose that has a large weight attached to it to dampen the vibration that can be felt in the steering wheel. I do not believe the TSB applies to '04 vehicles. Ask your dealer to look for the TSB on Tech Connect. The vibration is nearly gone from my steering wheel and throttle pedal. I never had a bad vibration, but I thought I would get this done to see if there was a difference. I think others may have vibrations from a different source and this would not help. As others have stated, these trucks vibrate and make noises more than cars and gassers, they are, after all, a pretty serious heavy-duty pickup and they will not ever be like a Mercedes.
