I have a strong vibration between 65 and 70 mph. Tire balance has been checked and rechecked, rear drive shaft has been rebuilt and balanced. The steering wheel doesn't vibrate, just the truck. Any ideas?

Truck is '96 2500,regular cab, 4x4, 110,000 miles.

Thanks,

Don

could be

your pinion angle ... . well could be a ton of things does it feel like the front or back... ... is your steering sloppier than before ?really need more info to tell ya but i would go ahead and give the suspension a once over. also give the rearend a once over . you just never know until you find it. mine had the pinion nut let loose but didnt loose fluid till it seperated. i felt it happening but couldnt track it. i also had a loose drag link bolt give me some vibration

hope that helps

I can't feel any vibration at all thru the steering wheel. Rotating tires doesn't change anything. Pinion angle (?) - the suspension is completely stock.
