Had the trans done 4 weeks ago. Now i have a bad vibration at take off, and real bad at -60-75mph. Then i towed... only GVW at 16,480 and the CEL came on. brought it to the dealer(friend) scanned it and O/d rationality, and low line pressure came on. I already ordered the 1 pc alum drive shaft from doghouse. Truck lifted 6" with 22. 5" Alcoas. Guys that did the lift said they still have to set pinion angle(nice to tell me 4 months later). The trans shop that did the full build- Suncoast converter and full hd rebuild on the trans, said to bring it back next week to look at it. Sometimes its fine, other times it almost breaks my back shifting. then i tow,or just be driving all day and the exhaust brake stop working:{ and the CEL comes on like before it was rebuilt. What do you guys think is happening? Im getting so mad that i keep having these problems.

You have a highly modified truck, you can NOT expect quality,fit or durability like stock.



The driveshaft is a good start on curing the vibes. As far as the codes no one can tell you that better than the transmission shop.



You might be well served to ask the shop for a complete walk through before any future mods. That way you will k ow exactly what has to be done and if the shop says umm I dunno you can keep shopping.
 
I did ask them for a walk through, and it's weird, because today i got in the truck and the CEL is off and it shifts ok. Its almost like the truck gets tired after a full day of driving. I have been going easy on it too.
