I was reading this awhile ago in TDR issue # 18. It was recommended that us guys with the 160,175,180 HP engines that are BOMBED swap the OE damper for a 215HP one. The 215 one is noticably larger and will absorb the stronger power impulses and torque which is delivered by the now higher output engine. Changing dampers is straight forward. Need a 15mm socket & Torque wrench. No need for a puller. No keyway. 4 bolts & reposition the tach sensor.
