I have noticed since I bought the truck I have had a vibration at 50-55mph just after the torque converter locks up and I don't have a lot of throttle in it and just cruisin around the 55mph zone. Does anyone else experience this and know what the fix might be. I have not noticed the vibration in steering wheel or throttle yet so I don't think it is the PS hose.

TIA

Doug

I had a vibration with mine and I stuck some weather stripping in between the trans. dipstick and whatever it's zip tied to and the vibe is gone.

Hope this helps.

I have a vibration as soon as my 04 goes into overdrive also. Dealer is still working on it. I am not very confident they will fix it. I will have to check out dipstick idea. I am pretty sure I'll have to fix it myself. dealer has replaced driveshafts and put vibration sensors and still no results. There is a Chrysler super tech that is going to look at it next week. I sure hope He will, or she will, heck maybe the tech is a woman, will do some good.

Well sounds like you are having the same problems for sure, please let me know what you find out, I am also going to look into the idea of the weather stripping.

Thanks

Doug

It sounds like I have the same vibration. As soon as the converter locks, there's a low drone and vibration which is most noticable at 50-55 MPH. After a few hours I have a headache, my ears are ringing, and my whole body is tingling.

Please post what your dealer finds.
