Seems like when you do a search on here for "vibrations" you get a month's worth of reading(LOL) I've read some of the posts, but definitely not "all" of them. Maybe somebody can throw some advice my way. Keep in mind this truck I have recently purchased, was a wrecked truck with right front damage prior to the body shop repairing it. I have a slight vibration, which gets noticibly worse from 55-70MPH. The 5speed shifter and the 4x4 shifter really shake quite a bit(more than others I have ridden in). This is what I have done so far,,,when Ipurchased the truck it had one rear shock that was broke. So I ordered a set of Rancho 9000's and replaced all 4 shocks. I had it in the dealership for some AC work, and had them check my ball joints, etc, and was told that the front end looked solid. I had the tech drive the truck and he noticed the vibration, so he checked motor mounts, thinking one of them might be broke, but they all checked out ok, so he suggested checking the front tires, and having them balanced. I had the two front tires balanced just this afternoon, and one was indeed off, as I watched the service man balance it. I drove the truck home, and it "may" have been a little better, but not much, still have the vibration at higher speed, and shifter handles still shake. I had visibly checked the drive shaft myself earlier today when I was changing the oil, but the ujoints looked fine to me, and didnt have any give when I pried on them. Truck has approximately 70,000 miles on it. Anybody have any ideas, as to what else I might check?
