vibration under load

My 05 3500 quad with HO and auto has a vibration when towing the trailer. Driving empty I do not feel it, but when I put my 34' gooseneck box trailer on it, I feel a steady vibration when under acceleration at a light. Vibrates from about 5mph to about 40mph. Seems to go away at highway speed?? Could this be a drive shaft issue? or a torque converter?

When I had a vibration on acceleration, it was the rear drive shaft u-joint. You can pick up a serviceable u-joint for about $15 at any NAPA shop.
