Ok guys I haven't gotten my truck up on the lift yet but (I'm hoping somebody has experienced this, When I Take off under heavy acceleration I get a vibration that is very similar to the posi ratchet you might feel when slow speed cornering. It is not a a transmission slip, and from being under the truck on the creep it does not appear to be a u-joint... and suggestions?

I had a noise back there someplace I couldn't locate. Fianlly I jacked up both rear wheels, started it up, Up put it in "D". I let it idle up & shift through the gears up to OD & lockup. I could hear a distinct rumble coming up through the bed. The U-joints were OK, so I pulled the rear end cover, & found out the right side carrier bearing had spalled out, eating up the rollers, contaminating my fluid, & ruining all the pinion & wheel bearings. Not a happy find. The diff. carrier is easy to take out, pull both axles out about a foot, and take off the 4 big cap bolts, & it will roll right out in your lap. Hope it' something simple in your case.
