Thanks for the replies,just finished changing out the rear joint and test drove it. Smooth running now. I know I should have change out the front also. Have 60000 on the truck and the front didn't look bad. I purchased 2 joints so I have a extra. Your right Barry it is a bear changing them out. I just heated the yoke with a torch until the plastic melts out the sides while its under pressure in 12 ton press,then the joint pops loose,But still couldn't get the caps off. So I just cut the joint with the torch and then pressed the caps out. Andres I didn't get any movment out of the bad joint ,but the grease had blown out of the joint, I guess from over heating.
