I have a 2007 Mega Cab 2500 with the 2 piece driveline. I was head back the the hotel from the location which is a little over an hour away. I started feel a vibration, not bad but definitely something was wrong. I pulled into the hotel and got under the truck and the rubber for the carrier bearing was completely gone and the driveline was up against the transfer case. The rubber boot for the seal was completely gone. Found a mechanic who could fix it right away but now at about 73 mph I get a vibration. Could the slip joint on the driveline hit the oil pump in the transfer case or pushed on the output shaft when it slid forward or maybe it’s something else? Looking for ideas on where to look for this.
