I have a vibration in the truck upon take off. Heres whats been done. 4 new rear rims, new left side springs, new front track bar. Still vibratiing??

My mechani checked u joints said they were good. driveshaft looks good even when I had the bed off still looked o. k. How can I tell for sure other than just looking as I go down the road?

torque convertor/transmission..... rear differential carrier bearings..... center bearing (on the L O N G wheelbase trucks only... . ).....

Mud tires..... (just kidding... )

I get a slight, but annoying vibration at 1100 rpm, i dont think it is driveline related as I can rev it to 1100 in neutral and still hear/feel it, same as when driving. It is not there until 1100, then goes away at anything higher.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

If you had a 160hp pump, I might want to tell you that it's your delivery valves..... The smaller valves cause this little stumble at the rpm you are describing. The 180hp pump has some decently sized valves in it..... they're no 191's, but they are probably bigger than the puny 131's in my pump... .

HTH,

Matt

Update on the little off idle 'stumble'..... I installed a new overflow valve... . it's no longer there. The old one was leaking by... . new one was not..... so far, so good.

Mine does it too...

When I posted on this last summer I was told "they all do it". Mine will jerk driving down the road when in this RPM range too.
