Was browsing the Internet when I came across this:

It’s of an early Bronco with a death wobble problem. I wonder if this is the same thing some of the 2nd generation CTD's are experiencing.

If you notice in the video the axle stays center. The center link if you notice starts to reverb once the wobble starts. Prolly with slop in ALL the joints up front. Take all that slop and go from one extreem to the next with dead nuts alighnment (Read no toe in) and bang wobbly bobbly.



Kinda like that perfect speed when you push a shopping cart down an aisle. The front casters start to shimmy then come true again. That is simple gyroscopics. I think that ALL front end componentry having the slightest ammount of slop adds up to enough room for side to side movement at just the right speed (Like those casters)
