I agree, how your truck holds together is beyond me! Isn't that the same truck i've watch do 3rd gear takeoffs and multiple donuts?

I'm not complaining though, you make a great conversation piece with some friends of mine driving the competition... "i'll bet your truck can't do this"

Yes. Same truck.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

It's almost funny when I start talking about things I've broken on this truck...

From driveshafts flying out from under the truck at 100MPH, to racing towing a trailer and beating a "500HP" powerstroke carrying a shorter, lighter trailer, and then burning up a piston ring, to walking a '95 Corvette from 40MPH to 115MPH.

I've done many things in this truck. Right now it's in the shop for a worn out clutch/input shaft. . I'll put some pics up later of the carnage.

No kiddin, your clutch wore out? Keep us posted, i'll be waiting...

There is a truck just like yours before the flatbed on streetfire.net doing donuts on the street in the dark... is that you too? If you search diesel on their search engine it should come up, i've forwarded that one to about everyone I know too.

It takes big gonadas to spool up the dually and slide your foot off the clutch in third. You win hands down.

I still can't believe your clutch took a hit.

Here's a few pics for you to enjoy.

If you have anything to say, just let it out. I dropped the trans for symptoms of a bad pilot bearing. Clutch was working perfectly, even beat a '03 Tahoe in a stoplight showdown rescently.

Sorry for the poor quality, my cell, and a flashlight was all I had...

Wore out the clutch. .

I talked to Peter at South Bend and he said this is the exact type of failure you see with unsprung clutch assemblies. If I wouldn't have been towing so heavy, I would not have had this problem.

I forgot to mention that I have changed all the flatbed lights over to LED's (no more reverse lights,, Out of Sight, Out of mind at the inspection station)

I had them all blacked out. Side markers, rear markers, and headache rack. Looks slick.

I'll get pics when the truck is back out of the shop with a new input shaft and Peter's new Sprung DD.

I resized some of those huge clutch pics, and here's a new video showing how my "old" transmission shifted with above ruined Dual Disk...

More video to come when the new sprung DUal Disc, and rebuilt 5600 gets put in.
