Researching Welding Rig specs and have some Questions

First RV Tow....Felt heavy....

I'm guessing that the heavy tow truck was brought in because the tow truck driver with the go pro camera stated in the very beginning that the 5th wheel was reported to be on it's side. When he got to the wreck he stated there was a miscommunication and the truck was only on it's side. I will admit these guys did not seem real efficient.

I found this, note the Rotator rates:eek:

The guy with the coffee cup in his hand wouldn't work very long for me, with an hourly rate like that.

Slightly used 60 ton for $600k

Nick

I used to drive a tow truck from time to time for a friend who had the AAA contract where I lived. I would have blocked the landing gear on the trailer and lifted it over the truck. Used our F450 to pull the truck out and put it on it's feet. Then drag the truck up on the rollback. Then hook the trailer to the 5th wheel adapter on the F450 and be gone. We probably wouldn't have been there an hour. Those guys were typical hook and go guys. Have no idea how to do a recovery. That was an easy one. I didn't watch it to the end I couldn't take anymore.
