I don't think I would want to work in a real office. But, would much rather have a Dodge than this Ford for an office. :D

CF,

OK, ya got me, what's a "valve DOT?" DOT=Dept of Transportation?

And where abouts in CO are these pics taken? And what are looking at?

Tim

That second one looks like the pictures of my Albuquerque products line. Flat land for miles with mountains in the background.

Don't do like my guys do and bump the E-stop by accident when you do those inspections, Controllers hate that. :D :D

Yes Tim, DOT is Dept of Trans. They regulate pipeline operations in the U. S.

Not us.

Not me Git, I would never do anything like knock a unit down:D . I was checking a sump level the other day and tripped over the high level switch, man things got quiet quick, everything except the phone horn. :D I never liked that much when I was a controller either.

Borger/Denver, Powder river lines. S. E. Colorado, these were taken around the big towns of Ninaview, and the Purgatory river. :D We have to operate and check/drain/grease all valves on the pipeline every six months and document.

It is

It is very dry, we have been in the worse drought in many years here. We are starting to get a little moisture now, but not enough. It is winter here though and our praries don't start getting green until April and May with the spring rain(if we get any). I have been doing a rain dance all year, I may have to get serious here (naked on front lawn). :D Maybe that is what we need is laughter. Oo.

Let's hope it doesn't come to that

CF, I sincerely you don't have to do any naked rain dances but if it works... .

My brother and his family and inlaws live in the NE panhandle. It's very dry out that way too. Lake McConaughy is incredibly low. I don't know if there will be irrigation water out that way this year.

Last August, the Platte River was dry here in Platte County NE. Never thought I'd see that. :(
