It was a 10%+ grade climbing for 13 miles with truck axle weight at approx 11,500 lbs + small trailer.

Speed was maintained at 10mph to keep from going over 1200 degrees on the pyro. The power was there but exhaust flow wasn't. I would never go up or down on this one again with an RV of any kind.

I drove that road at midnight back in 1988. One of the most dangerous parts was dodging all the deer. We got to Sheridan about 2AM to spend the night.

Nice video. It reminds me of a few roads I did on my bike trip of UT, AZ, and WY. (with just a taste of ID and MT) Pedal the better part of a day going up, (scenery that kind of takes your breath away TWICE) just to descend in a matter of minutes.

I fell in love with the mountains, the deserts, (I love desserts too so I've covered either spelling) the wide-open spaces, and laid back feel of the West. It was about 10 weeks, 2500 miles, and countless people I met along the way, along with the spectacular scenery, that made it an incredible journey.
I want to go back and do it all over again, but 16 years older with wife and son, it will probably be in the truck.

Fireman the Dogs never rode in the trailer again after that trailer came loose near the Grand Canyon going 60 mph. Some times they would ride in the trailer for short distances (1 mile or less).



Snapped a spindle off and bent the tongue after cart wheeling on all 4 corners of the trailer before coming to a stop. Saw it drift off to the left of the truck w/ looking out the rear view mirror. Not a pretty sight, luckily no one was coming from the other direction when it happened.

The Book of Secrets I think is her best. The whole cd is good.



And yes, as far as senery goes the only thing in my opinion that tops the Big Horns in North America is the NW corner of Montana.
