VIN and Body Code plate decoding questions

Looking at my VIN, what is plant location "G"? The 2001 service manual does not list a "G".



Also, I have looked at the service manual's instructions on decoding the body code plate and have found that I do not have a transmission code! Any reason why?

Thanks, the VIN codes answer my question as to what plant. The manual only lists 3 plants.



Any thoughts as to why I don't have a transmission code stamped the specified location?
