2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission VIN description?

Does anyone know if there is a website or somewhere else that can tell me what my used truck came with from the factory? Mainly looking for gear ratio and options. I looked on Dodge's web site with no luck. I know the VIN would tell me where it was built, model 1500, 2500, 3500. Looking for the window sticker basically..... Thanks

I don't know if they stopped doing this, but try looking on the under side of your hood... there may be a sticker.



I have a 1997 2500 and it says what ratio, axles, etc are installed on the truck.

The dealer is the place to go, they will give you all the info for free

Thank You all for the reply's. I tried the VIN decode and was great. Next I will try the Dealer and check for the sticker under the hood when I get the truck. Thanks
