2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission VIN Summary Report

I found out dealers can run you a detailed vehicle equipment list from the VIN number of a prospective used vehicle when shopping for a truck. That way you can see EXACTLY what options the truck has instead of trusting what the salesman tells you. This is important when calling about trucks that aren't nearby.



Anyone know of a way to get such a report without having to deal with a salesman? :{

I always get mine from the parts dept. They can actually print you out a "build sheet". They are always frendly (they don't work on commision!) and they know my face from buying so many parts!!!
