I installed two inch leveling spacers on my 2000 3500 4x4 along with Skyjacker shocks and had it aligned. Now I have noticed a real bad shake in the front end when crossing over a bump or uneven pavement on the highway. I took the truck back to the alignment shop and had them check out the front end but everything was tight. It never did this before i put the spacers on. I'm thinking of taking them off. Any suggestions? If i do take the spacers off will the shocks I have work with my truck, I ordered them for trucks with 1" to 3" inch lifts.

by raising the front of the truck, you have altered the caster angle... many of these trucks are on the questionable side of spec from the factory... you have exaggerated the problem. you may or may not be able to have the problem fixed at an alignment shop. have them set the caster angle back as far as they can. most shops don't want to do it because it's a PITA

well, when they aligned it, they probably didn't touch the caster because it's a pain in the butt... they probably just set the toe and the camber... if you have them set the caster, it'll probably be fine. toe and camber don't change on a solid axle when you lift it, the only thing that changes is caster... if you can get someone to take the time to set it right, you SHOULD be fine...

Did you install longer lower links? The links put the positive caster back into the front end. Get the whole front kit - links and springs. The truck will ride much better. I installed new rear leafs as well as front coils. Changed the way the truck rides completely. Huge improvement over stock. The rear springs don't use the lift blocks, which is the way it should have come from the factory.
