Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) virbration in dash

I have a vibration that sounds like it is coming from under the dash . It starts around 55 MPH and up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Which year truck? '95 thru '98 had a problem with a weld in the front center of the dash at the top of the firewall below the windshield that "could" crack and cause a vibration and even distort and crack the plastic dashboard. It's a dealer repair if the owner complains about it type recall. Can't remember which one. If I can find the number I'll post it. It happened to mine. The dealer sent it to a body shop to be fixed cause they couldn't. Had to replace the dashboard too. Cracked it slap in the middle from front to back. They have to remove the windshield to do the "re-welding" and they also put a strap across that area as insurance. The dealer decided to have a body shop do it cause they were afraid they'd break the windshield in the process. Probably a good idea for them cause the body shop tried to do it without removing the windshield first and sure enough, broke it. What a mess. They had my truck for a week.
