As opposed to giving a false impression that they do *not* lean one way or the other?

Sigh.

Locally we bombed them with emails and phone calls. I spoke with th VP's secretary, she was tired from taking the calls and not at all happy with her boss, IMHO.

My email directly questioned their stance with America.

The VP had an explaination and response to the public feedback, it ran every hour on the hour for about 24hours.

He personally took responsibility for the rule set forth and personally apologized for "rubbing salt" in to the allready present wounds Americans.

The next day , I didnt watch but tuned in to check out what was up. . to see if further action was needed. . But the on air people had their red/white/blue ribbons. They added a American Flag to their graphics banner that is across the bottom and they show a real flag at the end of the hour broadcast.

What is so funny about this? I dont know, I give up. Whats the answer? Probably the same thing thats funny about all these pictures... . clowns and comedians are what it takes to get a smile from some people. Others it only takes a picture. Nevermind

Yes... I am sick... I find something funny everywhere I look. In fact I look for humor.

For every tear drop there should be a smile. How else can we survive?

While searching for these pictures, I saw lots of beautiful pictures of the Afghan mountains, I saw lots of sad pictures of poverty and pain. And then I saw situations in peoples lives that sparked a laugh. Without humor, how can we move on?

These pictures are not really about the people of Afghanistan. They are about us, seeing life unlike anything we know, here in America. A satirical view of what life, for us, could have been or might soon be.

Funny but Sad
