Drilled my airbox for better airflow - installed a K&N filter put on a Comp - the DSS steering stabilizer would probably raise some DC eyebrows as well... Then there is my added pusher pump - I realize this ia a 3rd generation forum, but much of what I have done on my '02 applies here as well...



BUT more to the point, I fully realize *AND ACCEPT* the potential impact of what I have done on my warranty - but it's MY truck, I have my own needs and expectations concerning my truck, and WILL NOT be held hostage by a warranty that is questionable anyway - won't wait 100,000 miles or 7 years to FINALLY make MY truck what *I* want it to be - I'd rather be enjoying it to the max now, TODAY!



And so far, no problems or regrets! ;)

I've only dealt with the sales crew so far and all positive! :) Since I haven't received my truck yet I don't know how good their service department is. However, my sister & brother in-law both purchased cars/trucks from them and say they are good. Also have a friend who swears by them. I purchased a used car some years ago and didn't have any problems. Its a smaller dealership compared to some of the Dealer Malls out there. With Tally's, you get more of a person-to-person relationship which I like.



I understand the new 04. 5's may have some issues (body plugs, re-flash, rear-end howl, vibration, etc) so I guess I'll experience their service if my truck shows signs of distress when it arrives. I'll be sure to post comments either way... .



Oh... side note I guess! I have another friend who went to Circle Dodge (Bricktown) and had some REALLY good blow-outs with their service manager. He'll never go back there again. I went their just to test drive one since Tally's didn't have any of the 600's in stock. After the test ride (I loved the truck :)) I asked the salesman to price one up for me with THESE options (had Dodge.com printout with my choices). He refused... said computers are down because of weather. He then tried to sell me the truck I test drove even though it didn't have a 6-spd and 8' bed which was mandatory. I drove back to Tally's and ordered one 2 hours later whose computers weren't down! :rolleyes:

I live in Manasquan and have similar experiences with Circle Dodge - still waiting for a quote they promised me two weeks ago.



Went to Tally's with a quote from Tomeygun in St. Louis. Even though they couldn't match the 3% under cost, they came in at about cost (dealt with Mark).



Heading to Sansone in Neptune tomorrow for a last try, but, leaning towards placing an order with Tally's. Hoping to pull the trigger this month to take advantage of the current rebates.

I bought mine from tommy at tallys,I went to circle dodge with my98. 5 when i moved here from up north.

they were not the greatest with service issues,

When I ordered my o3 they gave me a price of 500. 00 above invoice,said thats the best they will do,see ya. went to Tallys and never looked back.

good bunch of guys there.
 
Ok- perhaps I will make the schlep to Tallys instead of running back out to Reedmans for the 2 recalls and reflash. Its a long ride from the swamps to Langhorn, and there isnt any dealer down here worth mentioning. Subject change- Nice ride Task- we met when I fixed your neighbors boat, finally got around to coughing up 35 clams. Cya on the road--

I've had the trans out to improve it.

I've tapped the pump wire.



So, I get to do the drive train warantees!!

I still have a warantee on the RADIO. !!!!
