2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Volant intake?

Anyone running the Volant cold air intake WITH the optional cowl hole??

Im running an old Scotty II intake with the cowl hole cut out. I can't help you with the Volant but I can with the hole in the cowl.

I am, I like it but if you include he cowl hole you'll get increased turbo whistleing. Is that what you wondering? I like my volant. The only issue is some places want to remove it for the ease of changing the oil filter and I don't let them

I was just wondering if it is a quality product and if it made a noticable difference in performance... . I don't mind the turbo whistle!

I ran them on my 02', my 04' and now my 01', my son ran one on his 01' when he owned it.



It is a little challenging to get the filter on within the confines of the box but I've done it enough that it's not a problem anymore. It would help if the filter was 1" shorter



leave everything loose until you get the filter tight, then go back and align everything.



the performance shop that put my new turbo on liked Volant although they did not sell them, they're the only aftermarket cool air box I've used so they're all I know but I do like them



Seat of the pants and added noise I think they really work!
