Bullydog makes some performance parts as well a ecu upgrade I think there good cars for commuting 50 mpg and it's not even some hybrid

Good cars for commuting? Try GREAT!! Especially for long commutes. Very comfortable, solid car, you can bomb it to twice stock power and STILL get close to 50 mpg, and have a nice James Bond smoke screen to revenge the idiot tailgaters...

As far as performance parts (injectors) for them, see my sig... ;)

Whoa, time for some R520 injectors, a pd150 turbo, and RC4! It will be good to have you back in the fold, Matt!

Well - I probably won't buy a TDI... whatever I buy will end up starting out life with a 1. 6L diesel or turbo diesel. THEN - I want to slap in a TDI block/head with a mechanical pump... maybe even that little 4-cylinder inline pump I have laying around.

When it comes time for injectors - I'm going to want something a LOT bigger than 520's. :D

Matt

Ask Deo about his R520, if that's not enough for you... well, it will be enough... . VWRacingUK gained 20 hp in their VW TDI-R factory built race motor just by bolting them in. 50% more flow than PP520, about 80% more than stock P706 nozzles. They are huge, but pop test they spray a fine mist, perfect chatter, perfectly matched flow, really interesting. but can you say smoke and EGT. . only at high rpm and WOT and off boost. Totally streetable. Giuseppe is King. I think Dodge people will find it out soon (I hope)...

Charlie: I talk to Deo several times per week. He ran the R520's in his TDI for quite a while and they weren't that bad. Bear in mind that we're used to diesels that smoke enough to completely fog out both lanes of traffic on a two way street.

Bosio should get to work on some 12-valve nozzles - I own two of them and either would make a good beta test vehicle. My '94 with a billet DTT auto will be out here in WI just after the first of the year. It's got a little bit of fuel.

Matt, the R520 give that "fog out both lanes of traffic" level of fuel with stock chiptuning or even Upsolute, you need at least a 22psi program to run them at WOT. Just driving around it's not bad.

I wonder if the 12v ship has already sailed. I know we can make a nozzle that works better than anything out there, (except maybe buddhapower, John is the KING) maybe spray pattern of stock or better, 8 holes maybe with flow of 370's or something more, for less than what 370's cost, but I wonder if there is enough demand to justify production. Think 250-300 bucks or so for 6, eh? If it was worth doing, I think the various purveyors of Chinese products would already be doing it. Correct me if i'm wrong, those are my gut feelings. Maybe this needs to go to email...

You know my email address.

Deo ran his R520's with the Upsolute - for some reason, I don't remember him saying that they were all that bad as far as the smoke.

(Let's discuss the rest of this in email... )
