Dodge srt-10 roll over

I got a 2001 TDI jetta auto about 2 months ago. Ive been getting around 42 mpg. Is there any mods out there to get any better mpg, (not that 42 is bad or anything) I drive 100 miles a day and fuel is 3. 50 up here in Alaska.

Yes, there are many folks getting more mpg.

If you have done all the standard things, tire pressure, driving like you have an egg under your foot on the skinny pedal... your mileage may be dictated by route. What I mean is, I got a standard 43mpg with the 02 on my 50 mile commute, one way, from ~280' to over 3000' back down to 50' above sea level. Going over the coast range every day the best I could squeeze out of the 02 was 43. I even took the wife's 09 one day and got the same thing that I hand calculate with the 02 on the 09s overhead 43 for the trip.

we averaged 38 and some change last weekend. Lots of high altitude mtn driving in sport and lots of ideling leaving a concert venue two nights in row. Considering what type of driving it is very good mpg. we have had a no start problem for a while. she will not turn over. if you keep cranking eventually she turns over. the pump seems to be working fine. this only happens every few weeks or so. thought that maybe there is some junk in a fuel line or injector? during this last road trip I ran a pretty heavy dose of stanadyne performance so we will see if this helps. so far still happy with the car, more so the misses is happy with her car.
