There isn't an upgrade option, but you can sell your Jr and purchase a Touch. PM me if you are interested in pricing and such.

When I started the truck the voltage fluctuated from 12.8 to 14.5 volts.
Once I drove around the voltage stopped fluctuating.

This was normal after a cold start and before driving it over 15mph, due to grid heater operation.

I don't know how well the BTS fits with the Optima battery being the battery
has a smaller footprint and I haven't looked to see where the switch is located
compared to the Optima.

The BTS was installed at the bottom of the driver side battery tray. It should be in physical contact with the bottom of the any battery in tray.

Everything has seemed normal but today I got home and seen this;

Outside temps are 74*. It climbed to 104* right before I turned the truck off.
Is this to be expected?

Your sensor my be loose. I would pull the right fender liner and check it out.

I haven't had the chance to remove the fender liner yet, not until saturday.

Today was a totally different result.
Same temp at 74* outside.
Same drive but battery temp read 80* when I got home.

I have a new temp sensor but this weekend I''l check the existing one for fit and connection first.
