i recently purchased a new vp 44 injection pump from ebay i put the new pump on and it has worked fine for the last few weeks . i put a psi gage on the pump to check fuel psi from lift pump i got the following readings 10 psi idle, lite acceleration 8 psi, 10 psi 1500 rpms, wot 4 psi, 3200 rpm 6 psi, I have tried contacting the "d-m-fr" that sold me the pump about a hundred times with no avail so hopefully somone could tell me if these psi readings are ok also was wondering what would make pump go out in the first place? :(

Maybe I am mistunderstanding you. The guy who sold you the injection pump is a d m fr because your lift pump is failing to deliver good fuel pressure?

Sounds like what I read, unless he is mixing up the LP and VP44.

no he wont return any phone calls or emails about the vp44 or the lp just trying to see whaT U think of these lp preasures i guess if they are bad ill be the first to know

He sold you a vp44? If so your old one might have died due to low pressure from your lp. As other posters have stated replace your lp. vp44 will have little or no effect on lp pressures.

I agree your lp pressure is a little low but I think you could do a couple of other things before replacing the lift pump. Get rid of the banjo bolts, get bigger lines, and move the pump back toward the tank. The easiest way to do this is get a Vulcan kit. If you do this you will get more pressure and it won't drop as much under WOT.

where do i buy this kit and how much is it ? i also have a code for low throttle positon senser voltage what does this mean this so called reman pump isnt tits up again is it dodge says you cat buy just a tps?

If you use the vulcan system I think it is set up for the stock pump. Although modifications are always made ;) . The stock pump can easily handle 100hp it is the longevity you would be looking for. These guys carry the stock and the Fass. The other alternative is mechanical like the Rasp although it is quite spendy I understand.

If the mechanical system ever comes down in price where the working guy with a mortgage and kids can afford one that is the way I will go.
