I just got this vp44 in the mail. It has a broken electrical plug. It is still conected at the bottom. I can't see any wires or circuit board. It was from a freind so I can't really complain. Has any one taken it apart that can tell me how it is constucted? I hate to put it on just to see if it works.

vp44 broke

I had to replace all the electrics on my fire damaged trucks vp44 and I replaced it all with another electrical unit from a wreck broken pump, it works great no and ! all of it comes apart together, if it were mine I would just get some good epoxy and glue it back together and make sure the wiring harness going to it is clamped up tight! or if it worried you maybe another member has a old vp44 that went dead and has the electrics left over? it will take you less than 1 hour to change all the electrics out, they just plug in with orings plugs, be careful not and break the flat wire strip! good luck!

Call or stop by your local fuel injection shop. I went by the one here and they were a wealth of infomation and also showed my a bin that was 4' by 4' and 3' high with broken VP-44's
