I have a 02 cummins 245 H. p. H. O. Truck is showing code 216 and i am still under warrenty. But my wires have been tapped into and the lume cut. I can't take it to the dealer this way because they won't warrenty it. . I need a nother pump showing 216 with good wires, has anyone got one laying around. Or maby can fix my wires. Call me 719-588-0803 and give me a price. I am second owner of trk. and moduel was not on trk. , just cut wire i didn't know about.

I doubt you will find one as they usually require a core. But it may help if you add a signiture and where you are from. Maybe someone knows of a local that could help. Good luck.

"I am my own warrantee station", sound familiar?

One reason I never tapped the pump wire, and now with the Smarty no need to.

I think the 02's have a particularly bad time with the Vp44's dying. Not sure why, but I think it is the fuel system temperature in general and heat soak cycles.

You can generally find a VP44 ~ $1000 and you install it.

Good luck with it.
