Still takin (cutting) that thang apart eh? Man that has to be the most carnage to a vp (including your sheared keyway) I have ever seen.

:--) Holy cow. I'm curious bout stanydine injection pumps. I have seen several John Deer engines with them. Do they have an application for our trucks, if so would they be woth checking into as far as dependabliltiy.

So what happened? Why are you cutting it apart? Did the pump sieze???

Yep it siezed. Spun the gear and then broke the shaft inside the vp44.

How do I take the back apart. The part with the dv's in it. I see a snap ring but I couldn't compress the donut shape part to remove the ring????

Maybe Holeshot can help with the dissection, he was tearing one apart at the kitchen table but I'm not sure how far he got.
