Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP-44s..The warranty

About to purchase a new VP & was wondering if any of the vendors allow tapping the pump wire while still not voiding the VP warranty. I know in the past there was a customer of Piers that misunderstood what is & isn't covered & under what circumstances. I don't want to make the same mistake & not fully understand everythiing in regards to the warranty.

The one I bought from Rip did. I just had to let them know before hand that I was going to tap.

Got mine from Bob Wagner about a year and a half ago. I think he uses Rip. The card read Source Automotive. Came with a warranty but said not to tap for a month or so many miles, can't remember. Probably a break in period for the pump. Working good so far with a number of 5x5 plus smarty runs. Good price also.
