can the lines from the tank be removed with out dropping the tank??

I ripped all the hard lines from the tank (coming & going) a while ago. Feed lines are 3/8" and return is 5/16". I used Vulcan's bio-compatable fuel lines in place of the hard line.

It's now pretty easy to drop the lines for whatever reason even with the tank in place.

If I remember correctly, I cut the fuel line with a mini tube cutter that only needs about 1" inch of swing room around the tube. It is this cute little red cutter with a black thumb knob. Looks like this one.

Yes they can be removed without taking the tank down but like was said if you have long skinny arms. On my dually they said if you remove the wheels on the tank side could do it. I could not get the right angle to disconnect and could barely get in there as well. I had better lucking going from the drive shaft side after dropping drive shaft out of the way. The reason for dropping the drive shaft I could get my head up there and see what I was doing that helped me anyways.

thanks for all your replys,, i have not tried the mini cutter,,but last time i was under there iT didnt look like the line would come away from the frame rail that far to get a cutter around it,,

i will look in to the hose kit,,,my guess is i can get it at GENOS??? last time i ordered some thing there i could tell the guy taking orders was just that an order taker,,wish i would of wrote down the name of the guy i had orderd from there once before he seemd to be on the ball and had a dodge him self,,,

i agree on the drive shaft hard to see around it,,,

ive collected every thing i need to do except all the fuel line and pump relocate stuff,, now im searching for a cleaner to clean off the out side of the radiator,,for my major service comming up quickly if the weather holds out,,, i read some place that simple green will atttack the aluminum radiator,,, thanks for all your replys every one DON
