going to disect vp44 any one interested drop a line,

also i have a friend that has one more vp44 bosch reman pump for sale $800 lets me know if any one interested... . :D

I have a VP-44 specimen (thanks Steve!) as well... I can't take it apart much further... it's basically welded together in the distribution section of the pump. I did learn a lot, though...

I also have a 4-cyl Bosch "A" series pump - just like this one (minus 2 'cylinders'): #ad

I learned a BOATLOAD from taking that pump apart... and putting it back together.

Go for it!

I'd sure like to see a picture of the electronics board - and I still haven't figured out what pushes the fuel plungers back DOWN in their bores after the cam pushes them UP - at least I sure can't see any return springs or connecting linkage that PULLS them back down...

Do they rely on incoming fuel pressure to force them back down, or have I missed something somewhere?
